I have owned this gun for 30 years or more. It is very good condition and working order for a piece 81 years old. I have fired it less than 50 times myself. It has a thick P38 book that comes with it, that explains the ways of identifying the different Lugers. Also explains how to disaasemble for cleaning etc. This piece has all the WWll German hallmarks and serial numbers that match in numerous components, It is a fine piece that is a true part of history and the Mauser was one of the best made. I just turned 79 years old and am thinning down my gun collection.
